Admin utilities (Resize pictures)

What it does:

Updates titles from filename
Deletes titles
Rebuilds thumbnails and resized photos
Deletes original sized photos replacing them with the resized version
Deletes original or intermediate size photos to free webspace
Deletes orphaned comments
Re-reads file sizes and dimensions (if you manually edited pics)
Resets views counter
Displays phpinfo
Updates the database
Displays log files

Quick instructions:
(1) Select action
(2) Set parameters
(3) Select album
(4) Press submit

Update thumbs and/or resized photos (1)

What should be updated (2):
Only thumbnails
Only resized pictures
Both thumbnails and resized pictures
Number of processed images per click
(Try setting this option lower if you experience timeout problems)

Filename ⇒ File title (1)

How should the filename be modified (2):
Remove the .jpg ending and replace _ (underscore) with spaces
Change 2003_11_23_13_20_20.jpg to 23/11/2003 13:20
Change 2003_11_23_13_20_20.jpg to 11/23/2003 13:20
Change 2003_11_23_13_20_20.jpg to 13:20

Delete file titles (1)

This will remove all titles on files in the album you specify.

Delete original size photos (1)

This will remove the full sized pictures.

Delete intermediate pictures (1)

This will delete intermediate (normal) pictures.
Use this to free up disk space if you have disabled 'Create intermediate pictures' in config after adding pictures.

Delete comments on missing files (1)

This will identify and allow you to delete any comments associated with files no longer in the gallery.
Checks all albums.

Reload file dimensions and size information (1)

Reload file dimensions and size information
Number of processed images per click
(Try setting this option lower if you experience timeout problems)

Reset view counters (1)

Sets all file view counts to zero in the album specified.

Display phpinfo

Contains technical information about your server.
- You may be asked to provide information from this when requesting support.

Update database

If you have replaced coppermine files, added a modification or upgraded from a previous version of coppermine, make sure to run the database update once. This will create the necessary tables and/or config values in your coppermine database.

View log files

Coppermine can keep track of various actions users perform. You can browse those logs if you have enabled logging in coppermine config.

Check versions

Check your file versions to find out if you have replaced all files after an upgrade, or if coppermine source files have been updated after the release of a package.

Bridge Manager

Enable/disable integration (bridging) of Coppermine with another application (e.g. your BBS).
